Centrally located, modern residential high-rise requires an experienced Facilities Manager to manage operations during annual leave period.
Our client manages a nineteen story building, with 18 residential levels consisting of 126 self-contained apartments, located in the heart of Adelaide.
We are looking for an experienced commercial facilities manager with exceptional customer relationship skills for a 6 – 8 week contract opportunity. This is a varied role with a diverse range of challenging responsibilities to residential tenants, owners and service contractors on a regular basis.
The successful applicant will be
- a confident self-starter
- someone who enjoys building and maintaining customer relationships
- possess excellent communication skills, PC literacy & Cloud based facility management software experience.
- a background in either a trade or operational management based role
You will need to come with the ability to think and act strategically to maintain achievable targets and an ability to quickly develop an understanding of a range of issues and provide advice. You will naturally consider opportunities that will enhance the building to make this residential location appealing to potential local and international tenants and buyers.
Your financial acumen is a given as is having a competent level of understanding for general operational management from understanding of budgets and expenditure, through to liaising with suppliers and contractors. Having an understanding of basic residential maintenance matters will only assist you in this role.
