Cadgile’s management team brings a wealth of experience from across many sectors, and each are committed to ensuring the best results for customers.

Gary McRae – Managing Director

Gary is one of the two founding directors of Cadgile, which formed in April 2005.

As Managing Director he oversees all aspects of Cadgile, with a large emphasis on setting strategic direction and driving a strong and successful company culture.

He has over 30 years’ experience in design drafting and engineering and technology management fields. Working mainly for technology based companies, he has held positions in General Management, Research and Development and Project Management. His career to date has included roles with a variety of innovative companies in the Defence, Manufacturing, Biotech and Infrastructure market sectors such as the DSTO, Ribloc, ARRM and Resonance Technology.

Gary has formal qualifications in Business Management, Mechanical Engineering, and an Electronics Trade. He is a multiple national award winner including the Telstra Engineering Excellence Award, and was the 1995 Australasian AutoCAD User of the Year.

Alistair Steven – Sales Director

Alistair is one of the two founding directors of Cadgile. He has held a number of senior positions in sales and marketing, business development and procurement roles in top 100 ASX listed companies.

He has extensive experience in strategy development and implementation for key business categories with turnovers in excess of $300M.

He has built a successful career based on his ability to grow businesses profitably whilst  maintaining disciplined cost control measures.

Excellent contract management and negotiation skills.

 

Tina-Marie Bowen – Operations Manager

Tina Marie Bowen - HR Manager - CadgileTina-Marie over her career has had a broad range of HR Generalist, Recruitment and Operational Management roles. She has worked across a variety of sectors from the service industry, entertainment, retail and now engineering services.

Tina-Marie joined Cadgile in 2011 as HR Manager and has since been promoted to Operations Manager. A key part of the management team, she is responsible for the workloads and scheduling of client projects as well as the general day to day running of the business. This also includes process and system improvements to supplier contract and lease management.

She also continues to provide a wide range of professional human resource services to our valuable team of design drafters and general support to the GM.

Michael Walters – Technical Resourcing Manager

Mike is a degree qualified, executive recruitment professional with over 15 years of experience in national and international markets.   He has a strong work ethic and prides himself on high levels of service delivery.

Applying his knowledge of the recruitment needs of industry and passion for lean process methodologies, he has assisted businesses through transformation and both strategic and technical recruitment assignments.

He enjoys developing a deep understanding of the clients business to ensure lasting business partnering relationships.

 

Stephen Alderman – Technical Sales Coordinator

Stephen is a versatile and results-oriented business professional with strong business and project management experience balanced with a recent history in a wide range of industries in the Adelaide and Australian market. Previous role was as a Project Manager with a leading mechanical fabrication and installation contracting company, providing specialised services to the petro-chemical, mining, defence and water industries, with  responsibility for several PM functions including estimating, design, execution & reporting.

Stephen’s strengths include hands on and practical approach underpinned by development of relationships with customers/clients & suppliers/vendors to provide delivery of a wide variety of project solutions.

He holds an Associate Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and Masters of Applied Project Management (University of Adelaide)

Craig Schubert – Drafting Coordinator (Mining & Resources)

Craig is a Senior CAD Designer with a Structural / Mechanical focus, who transitioned his career into a drafting design role after 25 years as a Machinist in heavy engineering.

Craig has the ability to design small to medium sized structural projects for the mining industry, which has required working regularly onsite. Additionally, as the Resources Drafting Coordinator Craig manages various project milestones and deadlines, along with a small team of designers and drafters.

His experience across multiple CAD Packages both 2D and 3D, along with a thorough understanding of client drafting standards gives Craig the ability to lead a project team as a Senior Designer.

Steve Andrzjczak – Drafting Coordinator (Electrical, E&I and P&ID)

Steve is an experienced CAD Designer with over 25 years’ experience.

Steve has spent 12 years working within the Building Services industry, predominately as an Electrical Design Drafter, taking on additional responsibilities throughout his career as Head Electrical Senior Drafter and CAD Manager.

Steve also has 11+ years’ experience in Mining, Process Industrial & Automation Control. Steve is efficient and methodical when it comes to project deliverables and standards. He is versed in many different industries working across a variety of drawing standards from state building requirements to internal company standards. Process and systems are one of Steve’s strengths, ensuring accurate documentation throughout the drawing process.

Additionally, as the Drafting Coordinator Steve oversees both small and large projects, from quoting, scheduling, resourcing, processing and deadlines within his small team of drafters.

Peter Caldicott – Quality Assurance Coordinator

Peter is a highly efficient Document Controller and Quality Assurance Coordinator with over 15 years’ experience within the Engineering Services industry. His methodical approach and need for detail ensures good quality systems and processes across the business.

A highly proficient AutoCAD drafter in his own right, he has a deep and thorough understanding of the importance of Quality Systems and Document Control supporting a modern efficient CAD drawing office.

A key member of the Cadgile team, Peter is responsible for the improvement and maintenance of the internal quality assurance system, and all processes and systems associated with it. As the dedicated configuration controller and quality assurance coordinator across major projects he understands the requirements and reporting needs to ensure quality reference and reporting systems.
