Ekium is experienced in automotive engineering from concept development and design for mass production to managing compliance, quality control and testing regimes.
We have worked with Australian and international automotive manufacturers and first tier suppliers using Catia V5, NX, Solidworks and Inventor.
We have provided design support for Magna Mirrors Germany and Ford Australia on the Ford T6 global program, for MPX – E who supply BMW for engineering and design work, and Autoliv for drivers and passenger airbags and side airbag curtains.
We have also worked extensively with Mitsubishi Motors Australia Limited, through full-time secondments and integration into the engineering team for major projects.
This includes design and checking of vehicle accessory projects with Catia V5 CAD and surface features for Mitsubishi vehicles, assembly drawings, installation manual creation and checking for mass production against local and global automotive design standards.
